More users are booking trips and hotels online now that COVID-19 limits have been lifted, which is great for Google's advertisement industry. Google workers, on either side, are working from home and commuting less on company time, which is positive for companies.

Google saves $1 billion every year by empowering employees to work from home |
According to a corporate filing, Google parent Alphabet Inc. saved $268 million in first-quarter costs from company advertising, travel, and entertainment, relative to the same time a year before, “primarily as a result of COVID-19.”
This will be more than $1 billion on an annualized basis.
Many of the risks associated with employing thousands of more employees are covered by the benefits.
Massage chairs, catered cuisine, and executive retreats are only a few of Google's perks, which have inspired much of Silicon Valley's work community.
Google, on the other hand, intends to return to the workplace later this year.
